Your school's next day off now shows on the homepage, and the page focuses on one closure at a time: tick the days you need and see which camps cover them, or add your school's days off to your calendar.

Pick your school to see its days off this school year, from Veterans Day to spring break, with the camps open on those days: which of your days each one covers, hours, price and a registration link. Also lists places that are usually open whenever school is closed, in their own words. St. Anselm and 14 Marin public school districts so far.

The planner's winter break now has real camps with posted dates, starting with the JCC, Marinwood, Novato Gymnastics, Vilda, Snails & Turkey Tails and Shredders.

Backups are checked before they're offered, undo can't overwrite a plan restored in another tab, camps that skip a week show as two runs, and on phones you can add a second camp to a week.

Phones now warn before adding a camp over a week you're away, a remembered town filter can't get stuck, and multi-day camps land in the right week.

Cards start fetching sooner and download a smaller image.

Each week is now one line per kid instead of a boxed card — a solid bar for a picked or registered camp, an outlined bar with "?" for a maybe, and a plain "Find a camp" row for an open week that tells you how many camps fit, or how many ran last summer if nothing's posted yet. The find-a-camp sheet is more compact too — provider, program, hours, town and price on one line, with Pick and Maybe right there — and now shows camps that ran the same week last summer when this season's dates aren't posted.

A "Kids" button in the planner toolbar (and "+ Add a kid" in the calendar grid) adds, renames or removes a kid without leaving the page. Previous plans — last year's and any past season — can now be removed from this browser (with a one-tap undo), and if any of their camps have posted this season's dates, you can add them to your plan as Maybe with one click.

Send another family what you've picked or are considering — a "Share" button next to "Back up your plan" lets you choose which kids to include, with an option to show first names. They see a read-only page with the camps, dates and prices you shared, and can add any of them straight into their own plan. Sharing never includes ages, notes, or anything outside the camps themselves.

Cards now show a photo from Google Maps, credited to the photographer. Photos load as you scroll to each card; camps without a photo keep the illustrated card.

Your plan lives only in this browser, so back it up: a private link (or a file, for a very large plan) holds everything and can restore it on any device. Open the link on another device to see what's inside, then replace this device's plan (saved first as a one-tap undo) or add what's missing, which never changes anything you've already set. We'll also tell you when this device's plan has changes it hasn't backed up yet.

One row per camp and one column per week, with each week's hours in the cell, like the original calendar. Your kids' weeks are pinned at the top as you scroll; click a camp's week to pick it (or mark it Maybe) for a child. Camps that haven't posted dates yet show last summer's weeks as dashed cells, and your kids' own last summer sits under their row with "Same again?". Set "Our summer" from the toolbar. Phones keep the week-by-week cards.

Plan week by week for each of your kids, on your phone or computer. Tap an open week to see camps that fit that child's age and week, then pick one or mark it "Maybe" to decide later. Track which camps you've registered for, and plan winter break as well as summer. 2027 camp dates appear as camps publish them; your earlier plan is kept, read-only, as "Your 2026 plan".

Provider pages now show Google Maps photos, rating, hours and reviews, live from Google. Home daycares never show Google content, for privacy. If Google can't load, you get a link to the listing on Google Maps instead.

Maps load again. Every date shows its year and last summer's sessions and prices are labelled as past. Search filters work with a keyboard and fit on phones, ages read like 'Ages 3 mo–6 yrs', text is easier to read, and Save sits right under the photo on phones. Price sorting is paused until prices are comparable.

Listings without a photo now show a clean category design instead of stock photos, some of which had stopped loading. Eligible listings link to Google Maps for photos and reviews, every listing has its own share card, and you can report a problem with any listing.

On desktop, the summer planning grid now keeps the week labels and coverage row pinned while you scroll through camp listings.

Modernized provider cards, search filters, header, home page, summer planner, and footer. Cleaner layout, better spacing, and a more polished feel throughout.

Tap the heart icon on any provider card or detail page to save it. View all your bookmarks on the new Saved page. Your picks are stored locally in your browser — no account needed.

Age, town, and schedule filters now let you pick multiple values at once. Select ages 5 and 8, or Mill Valley and Tiburon, and see all matching camps.

Fixed a date bug that hid 14 sessions from the summer calendar. They're back now.

Provider detail pages now show a photo in the hero banner when one is available.
